FAQ

No, this is not a requirement, but many instructors find it helpful.  It is entirely up to you.

Not at all.  Anyone may submit resources to CoreStand.

Yes.  All publishers maintain copyright of their work.

CoreStand publishers receive a generous 90% of their sale.   We keep 5% to cover the costs of transaction and the storing and promoting of materials on our website.

You will receive an email alerting you that your resource has been accepted.

Check out our video tutorial, “How to Upload a Resource”, for step-by-step instructions.  For curricular help, check out our page “What’s are the Core Standards?”, download our free e-book Becoming a Core Ninja, and feel free to browse and/or pose a question to our Blog community.

You may sell a book that is in electronic form.

No, but we recommend that you register with CoreStand to make the purchasing process more efficient.

Yes—and please do!  Most resources that are not accepted on the first try end up being accepted the second time around because you will receive feedback regarding categories that need improvement.

Please do!  And make sure to note that in your tags, as this makes your instructional materials even more useful to the classroom teacher.

In a constant effort to offer ongoing cutting edge resources, CoreStand selects news events that publishers can connect lessons to.  What could be better—current, aligned lessons that are guaranteed to engage students in a way that no textbook can?  These resources receive extra highlighting as they are always featured on the home page, and when the current events change, the lessons will still be available for purchase in our database.

Once your work is submitted, the team at CoreStand will examine it, making sure it is a) generally appropriate to grade level and standard b) generally devoid of mechanical, grammatical or typographical errors which interfere with understanding or usage, and c) provides enough detail to make it usable for the purchaser.

If your resource covers more than one subject area, you may submit it in both areas.  Be sure to include the words “interdisciplinary” in your description so customers searching for these materials will find them more easily.

We at CoreStand believe that you should benefit from any business you personally bring in.  Therefore, for every “Subscription” membership that is referred by you, you will receive 5.00 USD.

An instructional material covers a wide range of resources:  lesson plans, unit plans, powerpoint presentations, games, activities, book chapters, assessments, etc.  If it can be used in a classroom, it can be considered an instructional material.
